Job Description

Description:

The Sales and Marketing Associate brings modern, digital-first marketing to a hands-on industrial business. Our customers are plant managers, maintenance supervisors, reliability engineers, and procurement teams, and today they research vendors online, compare options on LinkedIn and Google, and increasingly ask AI tools for recommendations before they ever pick up the phone. This role ensures that when they look, they find Sentrimax: credible, technically sharp, responsive, and easy to do business with.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager, the sales team, and our shop and field technicians, you will turn the real work happening on our shop floor into compelling content, build and measure campaigns that generate qualified leads, and keep our sales pipeline organized and moving. This is a builder role for someone who is equally comfortable with a content calendar and a CRM report, and who is curious enough to learn how a centrifuge works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand and Content

  • Own the Sentrimax brand standard and maintain a consistent corporate image across all service lines, branches (US and Canada), marketing materials, proposals, and events.
  • Capture and publish content from the shop floor and the field: teardown and inspection findings, before-and-after overhaul photos and video, machining and fabrication capabilities, and technician spotlights (with customer approval where required).
  • Develop case studies and project highlights that translate technical work into customer outcomes such as uptime restored, turnaround time, and cost avoided versus replacement.
  • Plan and manage a content calendar across LinkedIn (primary channel), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, email newsletters, and the company website.
  • Write and edit company announcements, service and product pages, technical articles, and customer-facing communications that are accurate, clear, and professional.
  • Create and maintain sales collateral, including capability statements, service brochures, line cards, rental fleet and parts sheets, and trade show materials.

Digital Marketing and Lead Generation

  • Manage website content and updates, including service, industry, and branch location pages; ensure the site is current, fast, mobile-friendly, and built to convert visitors into inquiries.
  • Improve search visibility through SEO, Google Business Profile management for each branch, and structured, authoritative content that performs in both traditional search and AI-driven answer engines.
  • Build and run email campaigns and nurture sequences (Mailchimp, Apollo.io) targeting existing customers, lapsed accounts, and new prospects by industry segment.
  • Support targeted digital advertising (for example, LinkedIn and Google Ads) within an approved budget, and report on results.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate content drafting, research, and analysis, while ensuring all technical claims are reviewed for accuracy and nothing confidential is shared with outside tools.

Sales Enablement and Pipeline Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound lead intake (phone, email, web forms), qualify inquiries, and route them promptly to the right salesperson or branch.
  • Maintain accurate customer, contact, and activity records in our CRM (Apollo.io) and ERP (AIMS) to ensure clean data and reliable reporting.
  • Support the sales team with outbound prospecting campaigns, account research, and target lists by industry and region.
  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and editing proposals, quotes, and sales communications so every customer-facing document is accurate and on-brand.
  • Support customer follow-up after completed jobs, including feedback requests, review and testimonial collection (with customer consent), and repeat-service reminders.

Events and Industry Presence

  • Coordinate trade shows, conferences, and promotional events, including registration, booth materials, shipping, travel logistics, and post-event lead follow-up.
  • Help identify relevant industry associations, events, and publications across our water, wastewater, energy, environmental, and food and beverage markets.
  • Collaborate with external vendors (print, promotional, web, and creative partners) to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and report on marketing performance monthly, including website traffic, SEO rankings, social engagement, email performance, lead volume by source, and lead-to-quote conversion.
  • Analyze results, identify what is working and what is not, and recommend improvements to campaigns, content, and spend.
  • Maintain a simple marketing dashboard that gives leadership a clear view of activity and results.

General Support

  • Ensure marketing materials and controlled documents follow our ISO 9001:2015 quality processes, including version control and review of technical content.
  • Handle ad hoc and administrative tasks for the sales and marketing function with efficiency and good

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role in Mansfield, TX, with regular time in an active industrial shop environment; PPE and site safety requirements apply.
  • Occasional travel 3-6 weeks per year for trade shows, customer visits, and other Sentrimax branches.
  • Ability to lift and transport trade show materials up to approximately 25 lbs.
Requirements:

Required

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or a related role; B2B or industrial experience is an asset.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain technical services in plain, professional language.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), email marketing (Mailchimp or similar), and website content management (Wix and/or WordPress).
  • Experience with CRM tools (Apollo.io, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Canva for creating marketing materials and digital assets.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Professional, customer-focused communication by phone, email, and in person.

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, MRO, water/wastewater, or energy sectors.
  • Basic photography and short-form video skills (shooting and editing on phone or camera).
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid digital advertising, and marketing automation.
  • Practical experience using AI tools (for example, ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot) to improve marketing productivity.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows or industry events.

Attributes for Success

  • Curious and eager to learn the technical side of the business, including spending time on the shop floor with our technicians.
  • Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Energetic team player who takes ownership and contributes to the success of the team.
  • Brings fresh ideas while respecting the reputation and relationships that have built the business since 2002.
