What You Will Do
- Serves as the central intake and coordination resource for planning, design, renovation, deferred maintenance, capital renewal, and construction projects.
- Serves as liaison with the client and Principal Architect to ensure the desired scope of work and outcome fit within the available resources.
- Creates and provides project reporting and performance tracking through various charts and metrics.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of efficient project management and internal processes.
- Maintains consistent accurate, and accessible project information and records.
- Supports successful project completion and departmental initiatives.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications-Bachelors degree.
-A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (Note: Masters Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)
Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.
AND:
Years can be concurrent with above
-Bachelor's Degree in construction management or a closely related field (business administration, public administration, management, communications, FM, PM, CA)
-2+ years of experience in construction management, building project management, project management/coordination, or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience
-Experience in higher education, government, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
-Experience developing reports, dashboards, and project metrics.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to gather, organize, and present information in a clear and professional manner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
