Are you an experienced quality, governance or compliance professional who is passionate about improving systems, managing risk and driving better outcomes for clients?

We're looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to join our team at CareChoice.

This is a leadership role with broad organisational impact. You'll lead CareChoice's quality, compliance, risk, governance, clinical governance and continuous improvement functions, helping ensure the services we provide remain safe, effective, person-centred and fully compliant.

Working closely with operational leaders and executives, you'll oversee quality systems, governance frameworks, safeguarding activities, audit programs and regulatory obligations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you'll work across every part of the business to strengthen quality outcomes, manage risk and support operational excellence.

This is a highly visible role where you'll influence organisational decision-making, support leaders to navigate complex regulatory requirements and help drive a culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

No two days will look the same. You might be preparing for an external audit, analysing organisational risk trends, supporting responses to incidents and complaints, reviewing clinical governance outcomes, presenting governance reports to senior leaders or leading a business-wide quality improvement initiative.

Your role will include:

• leading CareChoice's quality, compliance, governance and clinical governance frameworks

• managing internal and external audits, accreditation and certification activities

• overseeing compliance obligations and providing expert advice to leaders across the organisation

• monitoring emerging risks and supporting the implementation of effective controls

• coordinating quality, risk and compliance reporting to governance committees and executive forums

• supporting safeguarding, client protection and service quality systems

• partnering with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities and reduce systemic risk

• supporting investigations, complaints management and organisational responses to serious incidents

• driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality outcomes and organisational performance

• building capability across the business in governance, compliance, risk management and quality practices

• leading and developing a specialist quality and compliance team

About You

You're likely to be a Quality Manager, Compliance Manager, Governance Manager, Risk Manager or similar professional who is comfortable operating in a complex and highly regulated environment.

You understand that quality and compliance aren't just about meeting standards. You're able to translate regulatory requirements into practical outcomes, influence stakeholders and help leaders make informed decisions that strengthen both compliance and service quality.

You'll bring:

• significant experience leading quality, compliance, governance, risk or clinical governance functions

• strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks

• experience managing accreditation, certification and audit programs

• experience developing and embedding quality management systems and continuous improvement frameworks

• experience preparing governance reports and presenting to executive and committee forums

• strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing capability

• highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• the ability to balance operational realities, organisational priorities and compliance obligations

• a practical, solutions-focused and continuous improvement mindset

Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality, governance, risk, health, human services, business or a related discipline are essential.

Experience within disability, community services, aged care, healthcare or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.

Why CareChoice?

At CareChoice, our work makes a genuine difference in people's lives.

We support people with disability to live as independently as possible and to have choice and control over their lives. Behind that work is a strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement, ensuring every client receives safe, effective and person-centred support.

You'll join an organisation where you can influence business-wide outcomes, work closely with senior leaders and help shape how we continue to strengthen our quality, governance, safeguarding and clinical governance frameworks as we grow.

You will have the opportunity to:

• make a genuine impact on service quality and organisational performance

• work alongside passionate and committed professionals

• influence strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

• contribute to better outcomes for clients, families and stakeholders

• join an organisation committed to values-led leadership and service excellence

The is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week in our Mulgrave Head Office.

If you're passionate about quality, governance, safeguarding and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
