Marshall Medical Group is seeking motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our growing clinical team. We are currently considering candidates for PRN, part-time, and full-time opportunities.

The Certified Medical Assistant plays an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting providers, nurses, and the overall clinical operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high clinical and patient-care standards.

Requirements:
  • Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments
  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and other required measurements
  • Review and update patient medications, allergies, histories, and relevant clinical information
  • Assist physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff with patient care
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and ready for patients
  • Assist with blood draws, specimen collection, injections, testing, and other clinical procedures within CMA scope of practice and training
  • Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Assist with medication refill requests, patient messages, and clinical follow-up as directed by providers
  • Support laboratory coordination, outside study requests, referrals, and other patient-care needs
  • Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and Marshall Medical Group clinical standards
  • Assist with patient flow and help keep provider schedules running efficiently
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients in person, by phone, and electronically
  • Collaborate with front-office, nursing, provider, and other clinical team members
  • Assist other Marshall locations or departments when coverage is needed
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education
  • Perform additional clinical and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience in a medical office, primary care, concierge medicine, internal medicine, or similar clinical environment preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and learning new technology
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
