At Atlanta Autism Center (AAC), we provide 100% center-based, early diagnostic and therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder, ages 6 and under. We are currently seeking a dedicated floating OM to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is motivated by supporting operational excellence across a growing organization.
Scope: The Floating Operations Manager (FOM) is a dynamic leadership role responsible for providing operational coverage and support across multiple Atlanta Autism Center locations. This position ensures continuity of operations during Operations Manager absences, supports regional initiatives, and contributes to the successful execution of organizational priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Coverage- Serve as primary coverage for Operations Managers during PTO, flex time, vacancies, and other staffing needs across all center locations.
- Maintain full operational responsibility of the assigned center during coverage periods.
- Work the schedule of the Operations Manager being covered (typically 7:00am–4:00pm).
- When not in a coverage assignment, work onsite at a designated center requiring operational support (typically within the hours of 7:30am–6:30pm).
- Partner closely with Directors of Center Operations (DCOs) to support regional initiatives and center-level priorities.
- Provide hands-on operational support to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations.
- Support facility management, compliance requirements, and overall center readiness.
- Ensure centers are prepared for audits, payer reviews, accreditation surveys, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining consistent operational standards across all locations.
- Support new center openings, transitions, and operational ramp-ups.
- Lead or assist with company-wide initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Manage or contribute to special projects, including:
- After School Program implementation
- Inventory standardization
- Office remodels and facility improvements
- Emergency preparedness planning
- New software and system implementations
- Operational audits and process optimization
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, or related field required
Minimum of 3 years experience managing an ABA Center or healthcare operations
Knowledge of ABA coding and billing practices
Knowledge of ABA issues and terminology
Computer skills including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and relevant ABA software systems including CentralReach
