Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to manage the computer and system
operations during our live Whatnot shows. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, organized,
and engaging live selling experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment,
can multitask effectively, and communicates clearly with both the team and audience. This
position requires focus, quick decision-making, and adaptability during live shows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and properly set up live streams on the Whatnot platform
• Monitor and manage live chat, responding to customer questions in real-time
• Maintain accurate lot numbering and ensure items stay in correct sequence throughout
the show
• Identify and resolve system glitches or discrepancies quickly and efficiently
• Coordinate with the on-camera host to keep the show running smoothly
• Generate and print shipping labels accurately and in a timely manner
• Track sales activity and ensure all items are accounted for within the system
• Maintain overall integrity and organization of each live show
• Provide pictures of Flash Sale items and Buyer Giveaway items to the VA team for
upload to show inventory prior to the live show
• Work with the VA Team daily to ensure they are updated on new items, inventory
changes, and any new procedures
• Communicate any show changes, special promotions, or inventory updates to the VA
Team before each show
• Cross-train in other departments such as Shipping and Fulfillment to become a multi-
faceted team member
• Assist in other areas when needed or during periods when no live shows are scheduled
• Willing to learn and adapt to new platforms such as TikTok to support business growth
and engagement
• Coordinate communication with Shipping and Receiving
• Serve as backup Streamer when needed
Qualifications:
• Strong computer and technical skills; ability to quickly learn new platforms
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to learn multiple roles within the company
• Prior experience with live streaming platforms (Whatnot preferred) is a plus
• Entry-level troubleshooting experience
• Bilingual
