This role leads a network operations team responsible for maintaining reliable, high-performance connectivity and ensuring rapid resolution of complex service issues.
The position oversees operational processes, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a critical network environment.
You will drive service availability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence by coordinating technical teams and optimizing workflows.

Accountabilities:

The Manager Network Operations will oversee daily operations, team performance, and service reliability while ensuring efficient incident management and continuous improvement across network operations functions.

  • Lead and manage network operations teams responsible for optical networking support, troubleshooting, service restoration, and operational readiness.
  • Establish team goals, priorities, processes, and performance objectives aligned with operational requirements.
  • Drive strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational trends, and provide accurate reporting to leadership.
  • Ensure effective management of network incidents, escalations, and complex troubleshooting activities.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives and promote consistent adherence to operational procedures.
  • Support change management activities and ensure successful execution of operational updates.
  • Manage workload planning, employee development initiatives, coaching, and performance improvement activities.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with engineering, product, and operational teams to improve standards and service delivery.
  • Support business planning activities through accurate performance analysis and operational insights.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines network operations expertise with strong leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage teams in a dynamic technology environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in network operations or related technical environments.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of network operations, troubleshooting processes, service management, and operational performance.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve complex issues, and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing teams, improving processes, and driving operational efficiency.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evening and non-traditional hours when required.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to manage escalations and maintain service excellence.
