- Serve as a strategic HR partner and primary point of contact for leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Build trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders, helping translate business priorities into effective people strategies.
- Coach leaders on employee engagement, conflict resolution, team development, and best practices for managing diverse teams.
- Ensure HR policies and processes align with federal, state, and local employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare and behavioral health workforce requirements, compliance standards, and industry-specific regulations.
- Manage employee leave processes, including FMLA, state-specific leave requirements, and ADA accommodations.
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives while ensuring accurate documentation and processes.
- Champion a positive employee experience by supporting onboarding, offboarding, engagement initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
- Analyze HR data and workforce trends, including retention, engagement, and hiring metrics, to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights to leadership.
- Partner with talent acquisition teams to support hiring strategies for both clinical and operational roles.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensure HRIS data integrity, and contribute to the development and rollout of HR policies and procedures.
- Support compensation benchmarking and total rewards initiatives to improve workforce strategies.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role or a position with significant HRBP responsibilities.
- Experience working within ABA therapy, behavioral health, healthcare, or another clinical services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support employees across multiple states with knowledge of multi-state employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Strong employee relations expertise, including experience investigating and resolving complex workplace matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive alignment across teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities and limited structure.
- Experience supporting clinical professionals such as BCBA, RBT, or other licensed healthcare roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with ABA-specific credentialing processes, industry standards, or compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Rippling and familiarity with collaboration tools and modern workplace systems is preferred.
- Competitive salary range of $72,000 - $84,000 USD.
