Job title: Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We're looking for an experienced and organised Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team on a full-time basis. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of room attendants and public area staff, ensuring that rooms and communal spaces consistently meet brand and quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires confidence, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and directing the housekeeping team on shift, including room attendants and public area cleaners

• Allocating and checking daily room assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and standards upheld

• Inspecting serviced bedrooms and public areas to confirm they meet required cleanliness and presentation standards

• Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of housekeeping team members

• Managing linen and amenity stock levels, ordering supplies as required

• Liaising with the front desk and maintenance teams to coordinate room readiness and fault reporting

• Handling guest feedback relating to housekeeping and addressing issues swiftly

• Assisting with COSHH compliance, safe chemical handling, and housekeeping health & safety documentation

• Supporting the Head Housekeeper or Rooms Division Manager with scheduling and administrative tasks

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a hotel housekeeping supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of room cleaning standards, inspection processes, and linen management

• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold a team to account

• Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Confident using hotel operations systems

• Flexibility to work across a 5-day week including weekends and bank holidays
