Overview
The Network Architecture Group requires engineers to assist in Network Architecture and Software Engineering related to contractor furnished as well as government furnished network systems.
Engineers are required to lead or assist in the Network and Software Engineering efforts ranging from system research, design, development, integration, configuration, simulation and stimulation, technical documentation, delivery, system level testing and post-delivery support that includes analysis and resolution of identified problems.
This position will require that the engineer support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-native applications by leveraging containerization technologies to modernize data acquisition systems and associated infrastructure. The candidate will also be required to interface with NAVSEA, government and commercial vendors as well as other EB Departments.
Travel to other facilities may be required for this position.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense
Preferred:
- Experience in the architecture of distributed systems utilizing APIs, messaging frameworks, and eventdriven design patterns
- Experience in containerization technologies and service orchestration concepts
- Experience in Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using Go (Golang)
- Experience in CI/CD methodologies and tools
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go (Golang), Rust, Python, or Java)
