Accounts Payable Analyst

As an Accounts Payable Analyst in our Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in troubleshooting invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate payments — supporting strong financial operations and vendor relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies and identify process improvement opportunities
- Research and resolve aged Goods Receipts Not Invoiced (GRNI) items
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from suppliers and internal customers
- Review high-risk payments to ensure adequate support and documentation
- Maintain ERP master data and ensure data accuracy
- Liaise with buyers, requestors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve critical issues preventing payment
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on problem queue invoicing and aging analysis
- Maintain documentation to support AP transactions for efficient audit and review
- Execute the 1099 reporting process and associated activities
- Assist with month-end AP close activities
- Collaborate with team members and serve as backup when needed
- Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- General knowledge of collections practices and customer negotiations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
