Regional Inventory Manager
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: SVP Supply Chain
Location: Remote – U.S. based
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
The Regional Inventory Manager is responsible for the inventory performance of an assigned portfolio of AlarMax branch locations. This position owns replenishment planning, inventory investment, inventory productivity, and service levels to ensure the right products are available at the right locations while achieving company inventory and working capital objectives.
The Regional Inventory Manager partners closely with Branch Managers, Sales, Category Managers, Supplier Relations, and Distribution Centers to optimize inventory performance through disciplined purchasing, demand forecasting, inventory balancing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Ownership
- Own inventory performance for an assigned portfolio of branch locations.
- Maintain inventory within company goals for Days on Hand (DOH), inventory turns, service levels, and inventory investment.
- Monitor inventory health and develop action plans to address shortages, excess inventory, and inventory imbalances.
- Ensure inventory supports customer demand while minimizing working capital.
Replenishment & Purchasing
- Execute replenishment usingAlarMax'sinventory planningmethodology.
- Analyze demand trends, sales history, seasonality, supplier lead times, and project activity when making purchasing decisions.
- Create and manage purchase orders to maximize inventory productivity and customer service.
- Monitor supplier backorders and implement contingency plans when necessary.
Inventory Optimization
- Coordinate branch-to-branch inventory transfers to maximize inventory productivity.
- Execute supplier stock rotations and inventory reduction initiatives.
- Recommend changes to Min/Max parameters based on demand and inventory performance.
- Identifyopportunities to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
Branch & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as the primary inventory resource for assigned branches.
- Collaborate with Branch Managers to improve inventory performance and support customer opportunities.
- Partner with Category Managers and Supplier Relations on new product introductions, supplier transitions, and inventory strategies.
Continuous Improvement
- Identifyopportunities to improve replenishment processes andforecastingaccuracy.
- Maintainaccurateinventory data within the ERP system.
- Support company inventory initiatives and best practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of inventory planning,purchasing, or supply chain experience.
- Distribution or wholesale experience preferred.
- Epicor Prophet21 experiencepreferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.(pivot tables, V-lookup)
