This is a hands-on quality engineering role focused on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of digital products used in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to design and execute robust testing strategies that support rapid development cycles. The role combines manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. You will help define quality standards, improve testing coverage, and proactively identify issues before they reach production. Operating in an agile and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in improving product stability and user experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and enjoys solving complex quality challenges while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, data, and customer support teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Review requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to provide timely feedback and identify potential risks early.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites using modern tools and best practices.
  • Execute manual, API, browser, and mobile testing to ensure end-to-end application quality across platforms.
  • Plan, estimate, and coordinate testing activities, including regression testing and release validation.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring clear communication and follow-up through resolution.
  • Participate in release cycles and coordinate testing efforts during deployments.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes, test coverage, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in QA engineering or software testing roles.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Python, Maestro or similar tools).
  • Experience with API testing, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing across different operating systems and environments.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to design comprehensive test plans and execute both manual and automated testing strategies.
  • Experience working closely with developers and product managers in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $85,000 – $105,000 CAD.
  • Fully remote work flexibility.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and disability coverage.
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO) and a strong holiday schedule.
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contributions.
  • Mental wellbeing support programs.
  • Growth and career development opportunities in a scaling environment.
