You will be responsible for designing and implementing resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth workload transitions from Azure to AWS. The position involves hands-on work with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native services to enable high-performance deployments. You will play a key role in defining deployment strategies, improving system observability, and ensuring operational excellence in critical production environments. Collaboration is central, as you will work closely with engineering, data, and architecture teams to align technical solutions with business needs. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where reliability, automation, and cloud best practices are essential.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and support the migration of workloads from Azure to AWS across production and non-production environments, ensuring stability and continuity.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines to ensure automation, consistency, and efficiency in deployment processes.
  • Configure and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Implement and maintain advanced deployment strategies including Blue/Green, Canary Releases, and rollback mechanisms.
  • Ensure full observability of systems through monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability during migration windows and production operations.
  • Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for critical production issues.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure workload compatibility and platform continuity.
  • Enforce security, governance, and compliance best practices throughout the cloud transition lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the design of modern, scalable, resilient, and data-driven cloud architectures.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or similar roles in complex environments.
  • Proven experience in cloud migration projects involving Azure and AWS.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Strong background in observability, monitoring, logging, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
  • Experience with deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary Releases, and rollback planning.
  • Experience working in high-availability, high-performance production environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and architectural best practices.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data platform modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Databricks and data engineering ecosystems.
  • Experience with data pipelines, including CDC (Change Data Capture), batch processing, and incremental ingestion.
  • Experience in large-scale, high-volume distributed systems.

Differentials:

  • AWS, Azure, or DevOps/cloud-related certifications.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package (to be discussed during the selection process).
  • Health and dental insurance coverage.
  • Flexible working arrangements (remote/hybrid depending on project needs).
  • Meal and/or food allowance.
  • Access to learning and development programs.
  • Cloud and AI-focused upskilling opportunities.
  • Performance-based incentives (where applicable).
  • Well-being and quality-of-life benefits.
  • Participation in large-scale, cutting-edge cloud transformation projects.
