Job Summary:

Responsable de dirigir, implementar y asegurar el cumplimiento de las iniciativas de datos y analítica alineadas a las estrategias corporativas. Requiere sólida experiencia en bases de datos, procesos ETL, Power BI y conocimientos avanzados en Azure. Conocimiento en Google Cloud (BigQuery) es preferido.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct the management of database systems (such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, and BigQuery), ensuring performance, scalability, and security while promoting efficient administration, automation, and operational resilience practices.
• Direct the definition and optimization of ETL processes, data models, and query structures, ensuring analytical solutions are efficient and aligned with the organization's strategic information needs.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring quality, consistency, and value for business users.
• Ensure the security, proactive monitoring, and continuity of data services.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with teams regarding data requirements. ▪ Apply data architecture guidelines.
• Conduct reviews of SQL code and ETL processes, perform data quality testing, and resolve complex issues.
• Assign tasks to the team, manage resources, and anticipate project risks.
• Properly document and safeguard project information.
• Provide recommendations regarding efficiency, automation, costs, and processes.
• Communicate progress, compliance status, and budget management.
• Lead and inspire the team, ensuring commitment and quality.

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of prior experience in a similar technical leadership role.
• Experiencia avanzada en MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure SQL y Data Factory.
• Conocimiento en Google Cloud y BigQuery (preferido, no requerido).
• Conocimiento avanzado en Power BI y visualización de datos.
• Conocimientos de programación aplicada a datos (SQL, Python).
• Experiencia en ETL, automatización de procesos y modelado de datos.
