OUTPATIENT THERAPIST in GREENSBORO, North Carolina at Envisions of Life LLC

Position Summary
The Outpatient Therapist provides individual, family, and/or group therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. The therapist works collaboratively with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary treatment team to support emotional well-being, symptom reduction, and overall functioning in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing treatment planning
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Comfortable using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and data review
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, schools, and other community resources as appropriate
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and required trainings
• Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Licensed or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent, depending on state requirements)
• Experience providing therapy to children and/or adults with mental health diagnoses preferred
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with diverse populations
• Familiarity with outpatient or community mental health settings
• Bilingual skills a plus (if applicable)
• Ability to navigate EHR systems to document service provided
  

Work Environment

• Outpatient clinic setting
• May include in-person and/or telehealth services
