Job Description
Triangle Fastener Corporation is a fast-growing wholesale distributor that has been serving the construction industry in the US and beyond since 1977. We are currently seeking a full time Accounts Receivable clerk to join us at our corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is ideal for a curious, detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while working in collaboration with supportive and knowledgeable professionals!
Position Details:
The Accounts Receivable position is responsible for posting payments to customer accounts, and delivering essential support to the credit department, branches, and customers for resolving account-related questions and concerns alongside other dedicated team members.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review daily A/R Reports
- Reconcile all customer accounts with current account balances
- Review account postings weekly to notify customers of open balances that need to be addressed
- Communicate with customers on short-paid invoices, invalid discounts, and applicable account credits
- Apply credits to corresponding invoices to fix discrepancies
- Review of unapplied cash postings
- Receive and upload tax certificates and upload them to tax software
- Enter and apply tax credits to invoices
- Answers phone calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders regarding account questions
- Resolve billing issues before account is past due
