CLINIC MANAGER in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at Forrest General Hospital

The Gastroenterology Clinic Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations of the Gastroenterology Clinic. The Manager supervises assigned clinical and administrative personnel, coordinates provider schedules and patient access, and maintains safe, efficient, patient-centered workflows. The Manager is required to hold an active Mississippi RN license and to provide direct nursing care when staffing or patient needs require, within professional scope, demonstrated competency, provider orders, and Forrest Health policy. The position oversees the clinic’s GI procedure scheduling and transmission of completed schedules to the Ambulatory Surgery Center.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Licensure: Current, active RN license or multistate privilege authorizing practice in Mississippi required upon hire and throughout employment.
• Certification: BLS within one month of hire, consistent with source template; advanced life support certification preferred when applicable to assigned clinical duties.
• Experience: Prior specialty clinic, primary care, or urgent care experience preferred; supervisory, staff scheduling, and practice operations experience strongly preferred.
