As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in our branch's success by:

• Delivering outstanding service to walk-in, phone, and repeat customers.
• Building strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Processing sales orders accurately while identifying opportunities to recommend additional products and solutions.
• Assisting customers with product selection, sourcing, shipping, warranty support, and inventory inquiries.
• Maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming showroom environment.
• Restocking merchandise and ensuring products are displayed effectively.
• Helping resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Making outbound sales and customer service calls to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
• Contributing to inventory control and overall branch operations.
• Following all company safety policies and maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC industry experience, ideally within wholesale distribution.
• Experience in sales, customer service, inventory management, operations, or purchasing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and a desire to help customers succeed.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed throughout the workday.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Use computers and telephones regularly.
• Safely navigate a warehouse and showroom environment while maintaining awareness of inventory, equipment, and customer needs.
