As a community executive you will moderate and manage day to day operation of BukuAgen community WhatsApp groups. Your role sits at the frontline of our merchant relationship and plays a critical part in driving merchant retention, satisfaction, and advocacy.Key Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement & Moderation: Actively manage and moderate day-to-day activity across WhatsApp merchant community groups, ensuring conversations stay relevant, respectful, and on-brand.

  • Content & Communication Execution: Draft, schedule, and distribute community content (announcements, educational tips, promotions, engagement prompts) aligned with the broader community content calendar.

  • Member Support & Response: Respond to merchant questions, complaints, and feedback in a timely and empathetic manner, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team.

  • Community Growth: Support onboarding of new members into community groups, ensuring a smooth welcome experience and clear orientation to community guidelines and value.

  • Engagement Tracking & Reporting: Monitor community health metrics (activity levels, sentiment, engagement rate, response rates, complaint trends) and compile regular reports to inform community strategy.

  • Feedback Loop: Surface recurring merchant pain points, questions, and suggestions to Product, Marketing, Data, Merchant Happiness, and Field teams to help improve the merchant experience.

  • Event & Program Support: Assist in planning and executing community programs, campaigns, contests, or offline/online events that strengthen merchant loyalty and participation.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure community initiatives are well-supported and merchant needs are addressed holistically.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (S1) from any major.

  • Minimum 1 years (internship is counted) of experience managing online communities, with specific hands-on experience running or moderating WhatsApp-based communities/groups.

  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (working proficiency in English is a plus). Understanding the local language is an advantage.

  • Comfortable handling high-volume, fast-paced conversations and multitasking across multiple groups.

  • Data-literate: able to track basic engagement metrics and translate them into simple, actionable insights.

  • Empathetic, patient, and solution-oriented when handling merchant complaints or sensitive situations.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Experience in fintech, digital financial services, or MSME-focused platforms/community is a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with community management tools (e.g., WhatsApp Group, WhatsApp Community) is an advantage.

  • Familiar working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to support content drafting, data analysis, or day-to-day productivity.

  • Healthy, active community groups with consistent engagement and low churn.

  • Fast, accurate resolution of merchant questions and complaints.

  • Clear, timely reporting that helps the Community Manager and leadership make informed decisions.

  • Merchants feel heard, supported, and see tangible value in being part of the BukuAgen community.
