  • Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and prepare written legal opinions, guidance, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements, including contracts with business partners, healthcare payors, vendors, and government entities.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure organizational activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Assist with dispute resolution, mediation, administrative proceedings, and interactions with regulatory agencies when required.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters while serving as a liaison between internal leadership and outside advisors.
  • Support special legal projects, corporate initiatives, and ongoing compliance programs while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in the United States.
  • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, preferably within the healthcare industry or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong background in healthcare operations, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and transactional legal matters.
  • Excellent analytical, legal research, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, sound judgment, business acumen, and willingness to quickly learn new areas of law.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams, including occasional evening or weekend availability when business needs require.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Limited Healthcare, Transportation, and Parking) and Health Savings Account options.
  • Competitive 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Generous paid time off, with a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days annually depending on position.
  • Nine paid company holidays.
  • Paid family leave.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits designed to support employees and their families.
  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-impact legal matters within a collaborative and growing legal team.
