This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Strategy & Execution Lead - P&C Insurance based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and digital teams, helping shape initiatives that improve operational performance and business outcomes.
You will leverage deep insurance expertise, analytical capabilities, and consulting skills to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and guide execution.
Working across underwriting, claims, billing, and other business functions, you will translate strategic goals into actionable plans and measurable results.

Accountabilities:

The Business Strategy & Execution Lead will support strategic initiatives by partnering with business leaders, digital teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness and deliver measurable value. The role combines business consulting, strategic planning, execution leadership, and continuous improvement responsibilities.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, operational priorities, financial goals, service expectations, and emerging business needs.
  • Analyze business performance, workflows, user experiences, portfolio results, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations, business insights, and strategic proposals to improve efficiency, profitability, service quality, and customer experience.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, reporting approaches, and expected outcomes for strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business teams and digital/technology teams to align priorities, requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
  • Support roadmap planning, solution evaluation, initiative prioritization, and execution alignment across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate initiatives through planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post-launch support phases.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support business requirements gathering, process documentation, user acceptance testing, change management, and adoption activities.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to evaluate business impact, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities for further improvement.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis, consulting, and execution experience, combined with a deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance operations. They should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and delivering results across complex initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience, with 8+ years of experience in business analysis, strategic delivery, consulting, or related roles preferred.
  • Strong experience in Property & Casualty, Specialty, Commercial Insurance, or related insurance environments.
  • Advanced understanding of insurance workflows, operational processes, products, distribution models, and business systems.
  • Proven experience supporting strategic initiatives, operational improvements, or technology-enabled business transformations.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, synthesize information, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
  • Experience with business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, process improvement, testing, implementation support, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall methodologies, policy administration platforms, analytics tools, and business intelligence solutions is preferred.
  • Experience with insurance technology platforms, rating tools, broker/distributor systems, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
