CNC Fabrication Machine Operator in Cocoa, Florida at Qualdoc, LLC

Pay: Up to $27.00/hour + $3.00/hour Night Shift Differential (2nd Shift)
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

We are hiring an experienced CNC Fabrication Machine Operator to support production operations in a structural steel manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates should have experience operating one or more CNC fabrication machines, including a Kinetic Plasma Table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, or Ficep Beamline. This role also requires experience using overhead cranes, performing detailed part marking, and regularly lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Configure machine settings for safe and efficient production.
• Verify material dimensions and measurements to ensure they meet job specifications.
• Select the appropriate material type, stock size, and dimensions for each work order.
• Transfer required production information and markings onto materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Accurately document daily production activities and material usage.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with basic machine troubleshooting as needed.

• Previous experience operating a CNC plasma table or CNC sawing, drilling, or cutting equipment is required.
• Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
  • Kinetic Plasma Table
  • Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line
  • Peddinghaus Angle Master
  • Ficep Beamline
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and production notes is preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16 inch.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Experience with overhead cranes and material transfer/conveyor systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Tekla PowerFab is a plus.
