The Automotive Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the appearance, organization, and readiness of dealership inventory and outdoor areas. This role ensures vehicles are properly parked, clean, fueled, and displayed to support sales operations and create a positive first impression for customers. The Lot Attendant plays a key role in dealership presentation, inventory flow, and overall operational efficiency.

Job Duties
- Organize, park, and stage new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lot.
- Maintain overall lot appearance, including cleanliness, signage, and vehicle alignment.
- Perform basic vehicle preparation such as washing, vacuuming, fueling, and removing protective coverings.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement as directed.
- Conduct visual inspections and report vehicle damage or issues to management.
- Install license plates, decals, and window stickers as needed.
- Support sales staff by ensuring vehicles are accessible and presentation-ready.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and driving policies.
- Assist with general outdoor and facility tasks as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous dealership, car wash, or lot experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining vehicle appearance.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to walk, stand, and move vehicles throughout the workday.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a background screening, drug test as applicable.
