Front End Supervisor
Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Front-End Supervisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while leading a team of hourly associates. This role serves as the face of our auction operations, overseeing daily floor activities, customer interactions, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse and retail auction environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Conflict Resolution
- Provide outstanding customer service to all auction guests
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
- Apply conflict resolution and negotiation skills to de-escalate situations and reach positive outcomes
Team Leadership
- Directly supervise and support a team of 10–15 hourly employees
- Lead morning team huddles to align the team on daily goals and priorities
- Flex across departments as needed and support cross-training initiatives
Auction Operations
- Assist with coordinating auction set-up and scanning in of merchandise
- Serve as the acting Auction Manager in the Auction Manager’s absence
- Manage and complete the daily operations checklist
- Oversee and take ownership of auction performance and key operational metrics
- Handle administrative tasks related to auction operations
SCHEDULE & HOURS
- Shift start time: 9:00 AM
- Sundays off
- Must be flexible to work additional hours and stay late as needed
- Punctuality and reliability are essential

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently; heavier items with team lift assistance
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift
- Forklift experience is a plus
