Goodwill of Central East Texas is looking for a Maintenance & Safety Coordinator who takes pride in keeping our stores, offices, and facilities in top shape. Every repair you make and every safety inspection you complete helps support our mission of changing lives through the power of work.

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same! You’ll:
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other facility issues
- Complete preventative maintenance to keep equipment and buildings operating efficiently
- Conduct monthly safety inspections and help create a safe workplace for employees and customers
- Coordinate annual inspections for fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, and other safety systems
- Maintain company vehicles, forklifts, trailers, and maintenance equipment
- Work with vendors on repairs and facility improvement projects
- Travel to Goodwill locations throughout Central East Texas to keep our facilities looking their best
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Love solving problems and working with your hands
- Have experience with general maintenance or construction
- Can manage multiple projects and stay organized
- Enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team
- Put safety first in everything you do
- Have a valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in building or facilities maintenance
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Experience with forklifts or industrial equipment is a plus
