About This Position
Daytime Hospitalist: Sinai Hospital of Baltimore
As a nonprofit teaching hospital, Sinai is the largest community hospital in Maryland with 483 beds serving residents of Baltimore City and County along with the surrounding areas. Sinai Hospital is the flagship facility of the LifeBridge Health system, recognized for its high-acuity patient population and comprehensive Hospital Medicine and Critical Care programs. It serves as the primary receiving center for transfers from LifeBridge affiliates and as a regional referral hub for complex medical and surgical subspecialty care.
We provide training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly. Sinai hosts a large internal medicine residency program with approximately 57 residents and serves as the regional medical campus for George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In addition, Johns Hopkins medical students rotate through select teaching services, contributing to a rich, collaborative academic environment.
Sinai provides fully integrated, in-house subspecialty services across all major disciplines, including comprehensive medicine subspecialties, surgery and trauma, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, among others. The depth and breadth of subspecialty expertise allow for advanced diagnostics, complex care coordination, and timely consultative support—reinforcing Sinai’s role as a tertiary academic medical center and regional referral destination.
