CNC Machinist at General MRO Aerospace INC – Medley, Florida

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and be proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. This role is essential in producing high-quality parts and components for our manufacturing processes, ensuring precision and adherence to strict tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Measure and arrange the elements to use.
• Operate and maintain machine tools and CNC, knowledge of feed and speed, cutting tools.
• Adjust and assemble the metal parts.
• Perform programming with MasterCam software.
• Carry out the assembly of parts on the equipment.
• Machine parts according to instructions and prescribed production times.
• Carry out compliance measurements and documents in the inspection report.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with safety instructions.
• Enter the operating time into the system manufacturer.
• Document cases of non-compliant parts and participate in the cause analysis.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position
• Skill in programming and reading plans
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
• Experience with CAD software for designing parts and CAM programming for machine operation.
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to weld components as needed for assembly or repair tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts for material handling within the facility.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in measuring and inspecting finished products using calipers.

Pre-employment FAA Drug Test required

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
