We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to help drive productivity and precision across our operations. In this role, you’ll set up and operate a variety of CNC machines according to blueprints and work orders, perform detailed quality inspections, and monitor production output to ensure efficiency and consistency. Using pre-programmed software, you’ll control and optimize the movement of tools and machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications.

Location: We are conveniently located in Oakland, FL, 23 minutes from Orlando.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design and fabricate fixtures and workholding devices as needed.
- Program and operate CNC mills and lathes using G-code, Mastercam, and SolidWorks with FANUC controls.
- Set up machines by selecting, aligning, and securing fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
- Calculate and adjust machine settings, including spindle position, cutting depth, speed, feed rates, and coolant flow.
- Monitor machining processes and stop equipment as needed to change tools, adjust setups, or verify part dimensions against blueprints and work orders.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Accurately track jobs and part data within the SAP system.
- Maintain compliance with all quality standards, ISO requirements, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping expectations.
- Prioritize and complete assignments as directed by supervisors.
- Support team operations and perform additional duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience machining a wide range of materials.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capable of standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and pride in workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC machinist/programmer.
- Experience with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM.
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi controls.
- Mastercam certification.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
