About This Position

About the Role:

As a K8 Teacher at California Virtual Academies, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and engaging education to students in grades K-8. You will be expected to create and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the individual needs of each student. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking student progress and communicating with parents and other educators to ensure student success. This role requires a strong commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid California teaching credential
  • Experience teaching in a K-8 setting
  • Strong knowledge of state standards and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience with online or virtual teaching
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:
