About This Position

Job Summary

Oversee customer service and the operations of the Treasury Management department to ensure customer needs are being met. Train and oversee staff members in department. Be responsible for the sale of Treasury Management and related services to the commercial clients. Identify clients and prospects that are candidates for these services, make sales contacts and close sales, and provide ongoing high-level support and service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures Treasury Management customer needs are being met on a daily basis and resolution to request are handled professionally, accurately and in an expedient manner.
  • Thorough understanding of all Treasury Management products and services.
  • Work closely with financial center managers and commercial lenders to identify prospects for Treasury Management and other deposit services offered by the bank.
  • Prepare written proposals when appropriate.
  • Meets assigned sales goals and increase deposit growth and cash management revenue within existing and future commercial relationships as well as relationships.
  • Proactively consult with clients and prospective clients to meet their financial needs.
  • Execute all agreements accurately and consistently on enrollments for the use of these services and provide client training and installation support.
  • Maximize fee income from deposit clients through the use of service charge and account analysis and execute regularly review Treasury Management pricing.
  • Audits Treasury Management contracts and services.
  • Ensure that all relationships with business clients are provided with exceptional service by making sales calls when needed with commercial loan officers or other officers of the bank.
  • Train and develop staff as well as preparing annual reviews or other development tools, as necessary.
  • Actively refer to other lines of business.
  • Ensures that all duties are performed in accordance with banking compliance regulations, processes and procedures. Works with other areas within the bank to ensure integrated compliance where necessary.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Leadership skills and effective decision-making ability are required.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication, and organization skills to successfully deal with employees, clients and prospects are required.
  • Must have proven sales ability.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of cash management and deposit services.

Work Environment

• General office conditions

• Must be able to work effectively at a computer for extended periods of time

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

• Regular attendance is necessary

• Frequent local travel
