Location: Lobby Cafe

Reports to: Director- F+B

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Barista to join our team and help create exceptional coffee experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and customer service, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering consistently high-quality beverages and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to customer specifications
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Take customer orders, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure accuracy
• Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
• Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and bakery items
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a café or customer service role is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or menu items
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Frequent reaching, bending, and handling of hot beverages and equipment
