Outpatient MRI Front Desk Coordinator at CareWell Health – East Orange, New Jersey

Job Summary

Busy and fast-paced outpatient hospital-based radiology office with heavy phone and patient volume. Applicant should be able to multitask and work well in a team setting. Prefer knowledge of the scheduling process for personal injury/no-fault appointments. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Essential Functions

• Answering Phone calls.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Verifying the Pre-certifications.
• Coordinating transportation.
• Patient Intake.
• Sending the Results to physician offices and attorneys if needed.
• Making Sure all precertification documents are obtained and uploaded to the system to process billing.
• Processing medical records request.

Minimum Education/Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, or a related field preferred

Minimum Work Experience
3 to 5 years

Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed
