Barista - Part Time (starting $13.50/hour plus tips)

5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Weekdays

6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Weekends

Hiring for all shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• Passionate about people
• Energetic, competitive, and flexible
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment
• Punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, prioritize, and multitask
• Ability to see, hear, and speak within a loud environment
• Ability to stand in an upright position without walking more than three consecutive steps occasionally
• Ability to raise, lower and carry objects up to 30 pounds, as well as stoop and climb occasionally throughout a day

Essential Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for performing all job duties consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards
• Greet and connect with each customer
• Solicit order using up-sell techniques, enter the sale, and process payments promptly and friendly
• Manage cash drawer, following established cash handling procedures
• Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines
• Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drinks upon delivery
• Operate and maintain the cleanliness of all store equipment
• Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of surrounding store property
• Demonstrate genuine appreciation to each customer
