Life Enrichment/ Activity Leader at Winter Growth Inc – Columbia, Maryland

If you enjoy working on a team that creates meaningful programs for seniors with memory impairment and adults with disabilities, this job is for you! Our Life Enrichment Associates/Leaders will work with staff to create a therapeutic program that energizes and excites our clients daily.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Work with the team to create activities for clients based on their cognitive and physical abilities and interests.

Creates programs for holidays and special events.

Participate in an interdisciplinary team to ensure all client goals are met.

Ensure entertainers and volunteers are scheduled and supported. Maintain weekly and monthly activity schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer experience with individuals with memory impairment and/or other age-related illnesses.
Able to walk, stand, and push wheelchairs throughout the day
Basic computer literacy and skills.
Essential skills: creativity, flexibility, passion for helping others

$20/hour
