Come Grow with Us! Precision Floors & Decor is a family-owned business of over 25 years with 2 locations, Plymouth and Manitowoc, operating in the flooring and interior finishes business. We have an amazing team and are looking to hire a full-time sales and design associate to join our growing team in Manitowoc! We specialize in carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, countertops, and window coverings. We also provide professional installation services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide the client with your knowledge and expertise to provide the best option/solution for their needs

• Exhibit an enthusiastic positive attitude throughout the process as you assist with selections

• Understand the importance of timelines and follow through on all aspects of the project

• Continue touch-points during and after the sale to ensure referral and repeat business, as well as develop and form new relationships outside of the showroom

• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members to build deep and trusting relationships

• Actively participate in problem-solving and collaboration with your team and clients

• Stay organized and keep pristine notes so that your team can pick up the “ball” if you are unavailable

• Be a great team member. Your team will count on you to "complete the pass" in each stage of the sale.

• Embrace a growth mindset- we are constantly learning new things and improving our skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• You are the point of contact for your client, from setting up the measurement appointment, to design, to installation (and follow-up).

• Genuine and honest communication with the client and your team

• Adjust and adapt to clients' purchasing style

• Take initiative, you must be self-motivated- Willing to learn!

• You are a solution creator

• Multi-tasking is a MUST, we work in a fast-paced environment.

• Time management is a must

• Color and design are important, but being the guide and consultant for your client throughout the project is the KEY to winning in this role.

  
  Computer experience is important. You must be willing to learn our systems and navigate through each of them. We use technology to our advantage. Pricing, follow-up, and communication.
