Position: Merchandising Specialist for the New England Market.

The Merchandising Specialist will use their creative skills to promote the manufacturers the agency represents.

The role focuses on merchandising, education, and relationship building.

• Conduct visits to assigned electrical distributors throughout New England to maximize product awareness and sales. (Company car provided.)
  
• Confirm that distributors promote manufacturers’ products on the sales floor with proper quantities, displays, and promotional materials.
  
• Manage on-floor stock levels and merchandising standards, including placing POP (Point of Purchase) materials and collecting placement/stock data.
  
• Work closely with marketing personnel of manufacturing companies represented by the agency to promote and educate customers.
  
• Work closely with Authorized Distributor counter and branch managers, informing them of releases, promotions, and procedures.
  
• Build strong partnerships with Authorized Distributor store personnel to achieve sales goals.

• Maximize visual presentation of manufacturers’ displays, signage, and promotions.
  
• Create product awareness and drive placement opportunities in-store.
  
• Report and manage stock levels and suggest new product orders.
  
• Strive for consistent and excellent program execution.
  
• Display a professional demeanor while representing the agency.

• College degree preferred.
  
• Independent, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  
• High integrity and strong work ethic.
  
• Flexible and fast learner.
  
• Merchandising experience preferred (not required).
  
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
  
• Strong relationship-building and selling skills.
  
• Ability to assemble displays as needed.
  
• Must complete merchandising training as required.
