Staff Accountant at allnessinc – Herndon, Virginia

We have partnered with a large real estate investment company in the Chantilly, VA area to provide them with a Staff Accountant. Has flexibility to work from home 2 days a week! Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: * Manage all data entry of general ledger, cash management, account reconciliation, payroll processing, preparation of taxes (payroll, State, and federal), and processing of accounts receivable and payable * Prepare financial data for both business and CEO’s personal accounts for our CPA firm to file tax returns * Prepare reports financial reports such as tracking inventory, cash flow forecasting, job costing, etc. * Conduct monthly reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data * Manage payroll and track bonus and commission plans * Assist with office management such as ordering supplies, snacks, and team lunches * Assist human resources with onboarding and offboarding employees Requirements of the Staff Accountant: * 3+ years in a corporate accounting/ bookkeeping * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business * Experience working with accounting software such as Timberline or Sage 100 * Experience in Construction Accounting or Job Costing
