Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Treatment and Oncology team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, serve as a clinical resource, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes. You will play a key role in care coordination, patient education, and continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and safety protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care needs, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and support services to coordinate care
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Provide emergency care and triage as needed
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
• Support and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other team members
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction
• Medication pre-authorization verification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous RN experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
