FUNCTION

The Clinician is responsible for using high-quality, evidenced-based therapeutic approaches to treat clients and their families (if applicable). Clinicians help clients gain access to various resources, build an effective treatment team, and provide appropriate referrals (if necessary).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Diagnostic assessment of individuals, families, and groups.
  2. Assess and provide high-quality, evidenced-based therapeutic services to clients.
  3. Develop and review treatment plans with clients.
  4. Assist clients in gaining effective coping tools for support.
  5. Create or solidify existing treatment teams and actively engage in the coordination of care.
  6. Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners.
  7. Engage in marketing events, either solo or as an organization as needed.
  8. Participates in supervision, both individually when needed and in group supervision offered at InMindOut.
  9. Completes required documentation and paperwork including chart notes, treatment planning, transitions to higher-level care, and any other coordination of care.
  10. Researching and advocating for appropriate resources for clients when needed including alternative levels of care, additional mental health, and social or financial resources.

Work setting:

  • In-person & telehealth appointments
  • Private practice
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in counseling from a regionally accredited university.
  • License in the state of Texas
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail
  • Attendance and punctuality are necessary for this position
  • Proficient in clerical/administrative skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
