As a licensed Counselor/Social Worker,you'll play a pivotal role in our revolutionary Tiny Homes Village Program,located in vibrant Albuquerque, New Mexico. This groundbreaking program is thefirst of its kind in the state, offering transitional housing to those in need.

Asour Counselor/Social Worker, you won't be just an observer; you'll be an activeparticipant in improving lives. Working hand in hand with Bernalillo CountyStaff, Tiny Homes Village Administrator, UNM Program Manager, and CaseManagers, you'll provide essential services. This includes conductingpsychosocial assessments, crafting personalized treatment plans, and leadingempowering individual and group therapy sessions. Your expertise will directlyimpact the healing and personal growth of our residents, particularly thosefacing high-needs challenges, such as Substance Use Disorder and co-occurringMental Health conditions.

Inthis role, we're not just looking for professionals; we're seeking passionateadvocates who embrace innovative approaches like Trauma-Informed CarePractices, Motivational Interviewing, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), andDBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). If you speak multiple languages,particularly Spanish, your unique skills are highly encouraged.

Please submit a resume and proof of licensure.Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or directly related field; at least 6 months of directly related experience which may include internship and/or practicum.Certification/LicensureNM licensure as LPCC, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent level, OR licensed out of state and eligible for NM licensure.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong commitment to working with high-risk adults.
  • Capacity for effective collaboration with internal and community partners.
  • Knowledge of community resources, including those for meeting basic needs, housing, behavioral health counseling, and other family needs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to meet program documentation and billing requirements.
