Warehouse Associate / Box Truck Driver in Cincinnati, Ohio at MCAF LLC

McSwain Carpets & Floors is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate / Box Truck Driver to join our growing team!

This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver flooring materials to our retail locations, customer job sites, and installation crews.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Driving

• Safely operate a 26-foot company box truck to deliver flooring materials.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Complete scheduled deliveries to retail stores, customer locations, and job sites.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and report any vehicle damage or mechanical concerns.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, installers, and coworkers.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming flooring shipments.
• Pull, prepare, and stage flooring materials for deliveries and installations.
• Assist installation crews with loading and unloading materials.
• Verify inventory accuracy and inspect materials for damage.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Assist with inventory management, material returns, and proper product storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet DOT medical certification requirements. Company pays for the required DOT medical examination.
• Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
