Per Diem Phlebotomist (CPT I) – STAT Openings, San Diego & San Marcos, CA

NCW Staffing is hiring Certified Phlebotomy Technicians for immediate per diem placements at a major healthcare system in San Diego County. Pick up about 20 hours a week at hospital sites in San Diego and San Marcos, with extra hours available as needs arise.

Pay: $33.00 – $36.50 per hour, depending on experience

Job type: Per diem, part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

Start: Immediate

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for hospital patients
• Label, handle and transport specimens following safety and infection-control protocols
• Work with nursing and laboratory teams to keep collections on schedule
• Document accurately in the facility’s systems

• Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification
• At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting
• Comfort with last-minute scheduling requests
• BLS is not required

• About 20 hours per week, with the possibility of more based on operational needs
• Variable days, shifts and work locations; no guaranteed or set schedule
