AWS 2ND (F/S/S/M)- Maintenance Technician Sr/Lead in East Peoria, Illinois at Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions Inc

Schedule: AWS Shift | Friday - Monday | Four-10-Hour Shifts | 2:00 PM-12:30 AM

Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00/hour (Including differential), based on experience and skill set

Are you the technician everyone calls when the equipment won't cooperate?

We're looking for an experienced Senior Lead Maintenance Technician who knows how to troubleshoot difficult equipment problems, lead other technicians, and still enjoys being hands-on.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role without leaving the tools behind.

• 4-day workweek
• 3 days off each week
• $30–$33/hour, including shift differential
• Hands-on senior/lead position
• Mechanical + electrical troubleshooting
• Opportunity to mentor other technicians
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, automated, and industrial equipment

• Lead and support maintenance technicians throughout the shift
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Take the lead during difficult breakdowns and repairs
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities
• Assign and prioritize maintenance work
• Coach technicians and help develop their troubleshooting skills
• Review work orders and maintenance documentation
• Support equipment upgrades and improvement projects
• Partner with operations to reduce downtime and keep equipment running safely

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Preventive maintenance experience
• CMMS experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

• PLC or controls experience
• Automation or building automation experience
• Technical degree or maintenance certification
• Equipment installation or maintenance project experience
• CMM or similar maintenance certification
