Warehouse Operator / Driver in Adelaide at Australian Motoring Services
Job Description
Like being hands-on, but don’t want to be stuck in a warehouse all day?
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operator / Driver to join our team in Regency Park.
This is a great role for someone who likes variety. One part of your day could be spent picking and dispatching stock, the next you could be out on the road delivering to customers across Adelaide.
You’ll have the freedom to get on with the job, be part of a supportive team, and play an important role in keeping our customers and operation moving.
What you’ll be doing
No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll be:
- Picking and packing battery orders accurately
- Receiving, checking and dispatching stock
- Delivering products to customers and contractors across Adelaide
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Completing stocktakes and cycle counts
- Keeping the warehouse organised, safe and running smoothly
- Safely handling stock, including regular lifting of up to 25kg
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused and happy to roll up their sleeves.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 12+ months’ experience in warehousing, distribution or a similar hands-on environment
- A current forklift licence (LF or LO)
- A current driver’s licence is required; an MR driver’s licence is highly regarded.
- Confidence with regular manual handling
- A strong work ethic and practical, “get it done” attitude
- Good attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- A genuine commitment to working safely
