The Role:
The Vendor Growth Consultant & Community Manager is a revenue‑driving, channel operations role responsible for managing Marketopia’s AI vendor portfolio and ensuring predictable pipeline, deal registration, and commission realization.
This role reports directly to the CEO and operates at the intersection of vendors, MSP partners, sales, marketing, and customer success.
This is not an administrative or community‑only role. It is a channel revenue operations role with a strong sales and performance component, focused on driving measurable growth across the AI vendor ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship & Growth Management
Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for assigned AI vendors
Conduct recurring performance reviews (pipeline, conversion, revenue)
Align vendor messaging, offers, and positioning with Marketopia campaigns
Ensure vendors fully leverage Marketopia’s marketing and CRM infrastructure
Identify opportunities to accelerate vendor sales and expand vendor investment
Support onboarding and activation of new vendors entering the community
Lead Flow & Demand Management:
Oversee inbound and outbound lead generation tied to vendor campaigns
Ensure proper lead routing and follow‑up by MSP partners
Monitor SLAs, pipeline progression, and conversion metrics
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the lead‑to‑close process
Drive continuous improvement in demand and conversion performance
Deal Registration & Channel Operations:
Implement and manage structured deal registration workflows
Ensure transparency and alignment between MSPs and vendors
Track deals from first touch through close
Maintain accurate data in The Growth Machine CRM
Reconcile vendor‑reported revenue with internal tracking
Commission & Revenue Tracking:
Track closed‑won revenue attributed to managed vendors
Ensure vendor commissions are documented, reconciled, and collected
Maintain dashboards for pipeline, revenue, and commission performance
Improve systems to reduce commission leakage
MSP Onboarding & Activation:
Partner with Sales and Success Coaches to position the AI Vendor Community
Support vendor positioning during MSP sales conversations
Ensure new MSPs are onboarded, registered with vendors, and activated
Track MSP activation metrics and deal registration within 90 days
Provide enablement materials and updates to internal teams
Process & Automation Optimization:
Design automation workflows to reduce manual tracking
Build dashboards for leads, deals, revenue, and commissions
Continuously improve operational efficiency and scalability
Key Performance Metrics:
Vendor‑attributed revenue
Deals registered per MSP
MSP activation rate
Pipeline conversion rate
Commission earned and collected
Vendor retention and expansion
Overall channel revenue growth
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary
$40,000–$45,000 annually
Commission – Vendor Revenue
5% on first $1M in gross vendor commissions
5.5% on revenue from $1M–$3M
6.5% on revenue above $3M
MSP Activation Bonus
$2,000 per quarter if 60%+ of new MSPs register at least one deal within 90 days
Annual potential: $8,000
Earnings are uncapped, with quarterly commission payouts capped at $36,000.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
5+ years of experience in channel management, vendor management, or revenue operations
Experience working with MSPs, SaaS vendors, or technology partners
Strong CRM, reporting, and automation experience
Financially disciplined with strong revenue tracking skills
Highly organized, execution‑focused, and comfortable owning outcomes
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action
Comfortable operating in a fast‑growth, AI‑driven environment

AI vendor portfolio producing predictable, multi‑million‑dollar revenue
Fully automated deal registration and commission tracking
Highly activated MSP community consistently registering and closing deals
Vendors expanding investment due to measurable channel growth
Real‑time visibility into pipeline, revenue, and performance
