Housekeeper III at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center – Anniston, Alabama

Provides basic patient care under direction of nursing staff by performing duties such as changing linens, maintaining stocks of supplies, cleaning patient rooms, and transporting equipment. Responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas such as the Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, etc., and surrounding areas on a daily basis. Routinely performs interim and terminal cleaning tasks in per policy and procedures. Simultaneously works as Environmental Services Aide or Floor Technician providing support care to patients per assigned area.

Performs daily cleaning all assigned areas.
Collects trash and cleans waste receptacles.
Assists with emergency situations and spill calls as required.
Project work and detail cleaning is handled as required.

High school education or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a Housekeeper/Aide preferred
