Job Overview- Company: Pickett Facilities Maintenance (A division of A. Pickett Construction, Inc.)
- Salary/Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (Based on experience) plus Performance Bonus.
- Location: Kingston, PA (Servicing Eastern Pennsylvania).
- Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends, Overtime as required, and night shift.
- Project Scope: Commercial and Industrial Facilities Maintenance.
- Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License and must be insurable.
You will join one of the fastest-growing professional service and maintenance teams in the Mid-Atlantic region, representing a firm with over 100 years of combined industry expertise. You will serve as the face of the company, providing essential repairs that keep our commercial clients operational and safe.
How You Will Make an Impact- Execute diverse multi-trade repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to maintain client facilities.
- Manage a dynamic daily schedule by transitioning efficiently between multiple job sites with minimal oversight.
- Diagnose real-time technical issues on-site, ranging from light ballast replacement to clearing complex drainage obstructions.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all installations to uphold the companys reputation for excellence.
- Communicate work order status and technical results clearly to management to ensure client satisfaction and transparency.
- Identify potential site hazards and implement safety protocols to protect yourself and the clients environment.
- Drug and alcohol free.
- Significant hands-on experience in carpentry and general commercial building maintenance.
- Proven proficiency in the safe operation of professional hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and adhere to building regulations and local codes.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage a flexible work schedule including weekends.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- 10+ years of experience in facility maintenance or professional carpentry.
- Prior military service (Veterans are highly encouraged to apply).
- Experience performing "handyman" services across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, and HVAC).
