This role is a strategic, high-impact individual contributor position focused on expanding and accelerating partner-driven revenue across the payments and commerce ecosystem. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and activating new channel partners while driving structured growth through strong commercial relationships. Operating at the intersection of sales strategy, partner enablement, and execution, you will play a key role in shaping how partners integrate and scale within a complex payments environment. The position requires strong commercial acumen, deep relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate technical and operational discussions with partners. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product, integrations, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term partner success. This is a highly autonomous role where ownership, execution speed, and strategic thinking directly influence revenue growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Prospect, identify, and engage new strategic channel partners through outbound efforts, industry events, conferences, and direct outreach.
  • Negotiate, structure, and close commercial agreements with new partners to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute structured partner onboarding and enablement plans, ensuring successful integration with platform solutions.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on partnership offerings, pricing structures, device solutions, and commercial models.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and integration teams to support partner onboarding, certification, and implementation processes.
  • Deliver training sessions to new and existing partners on products, sales processes, reporting tools, and lead management systems.
  • Drive early-stage partner activation by securing initial merchant leads and overseeing their successful deployment.
  • Monitor and manage partner performance metrics, including conversion rates, growth, and revenue contribution.
  • Maintain accurate partner and pipeline data in CRM systems and ensure structured reporting of activities and outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to maximize partner success and alignment.
  • Support escalation management and ensure timely resolution of partner-related issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for marketing and sales optimization within partner ecosystems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales within the POS, payments, or fintech ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing, closing, and scaling strategic partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, merchant services, and partner-driven revenue models.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating commercial agreements with external partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and workflow tools such as Monday.com.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and performance.
  • Remote-first flexibility across Canada and North America.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-growth global payments and technology environment.
  • Strong focus on professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional work culture with high visibility across leadership teams.
  • Exposure to leading-edge commerce and payment technologies.
  • Inclusive and equal-opportunity workplace culture.
