In this role, you will drive strategic growth initiatives within a fast-evolving fintech and cross-border payments environment. You will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with high-value clients across the global trade, fintech, and financial services sectors, while helping shape scalable commercial strategies for international expansion. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to influence revenue growth, market positioning, and customer success. You’ll thrive in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment that values innovation, autonomy, and execution. The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who combines strong relationship-building capabilities with deep industry expertise in global payments, fintech, and emerging financial technologies. Your work will directly contribute to unlocking new economic opportunities for businesses operating across borders.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with fintechs, international businesses, payment providers, FX brokers, and global trade operators.
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across target markets.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and post-sale coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and commercial opportunities.
  • Refine and scale sales processes by leveraging market insights, prospect feedback, and performance data to improve commercial effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and organized sales pipeline tracking through CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, commercial proposals, and negotiations tailored to cross-border payment and financial infrastructure solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives by identifying market trends, competitive positioning, and new partnership opportunities within the fintech and crypto ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the global fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency industries.
  • Strong experience selling solutions to fintech companies, international businesses, financial institutions, FX brokers, or global trade organizations.
  • Existing professional network within the cross-border payments, global trade, or fintech ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of stablecoins, blockchain technology, and their applications in international payments and financial infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to pipeline management, follow-through, and operational discipline.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, collaboration tools, AI-powered productivity platforms, and modern sales technologies.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and capable of thriving in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Portuguese language skills and knowledge of global fintech regulations are considered a plus.
  • Must be based in or within close proximity to Mexico City.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package combining base salary and performance-based commissions.
  • Equity participation opportunities.
  • Fully remote-first work environment with international team offsites and global collaboration opportunities.
  • Comprehensive healthcare support including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance contributions.
  • Flexible professional development budget and opportunities for career growth.
  • Work-from-home stipend to support a productive remote setup.
  • Generous paid vacation policy and holidays.
  • Collaborative and mission-driven culture focused on innovation, impact, and global economic inclusion.
